Food, Views & Nothing to Say

I was meant to post this earlier but got side tracked and forgot all about it. Then when I re-read what I had written I realised it was not very interesting, except that I kept going on about food. Yes I do love my sea food, and there was many good places to get it in Melbourne, and I loved the wine, but was that really a reason to post a blog.... It was mainly because I had such a good day eating and drinking and soaking up great views that what else was I to do but snap away. So really I just wanted to share my images. What can I say I'm a photographer and everything I see is beautiful, and detailed and colourful, even the food and rough old worn area of a bench. So I think all I really wanted to do was share a lovely day with you. :)

The most amazing thing just happened!! this morning over a morning coffee i checked my emails to find a reply from my most favourite and inspired photographer from the UK. She is part of the reason I started photography, and is where my style started from. For those that don't know she is the woman behind the Maroon 5 Album cover (and the one in it).

Rosie Hardy was offering a position for a small team of photographers for the work that she is too busy to do. So I applied knowing with hundreds of other applicants my chances would be slim also being from Australia. But she wrote to me and I am now on her team as an overseas photographer!!!!!! what an honour! :) sooo happy.

Saying good bye :(

The hardest thing about saying good bye is the lump in my throat and an empty house. With my fiance in defence and off to help with the flood crisis and no particular date on when he will be back, it's hard to let go off a tight hug. I am so pleased that he can contribute to help recover those that are missing and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost so much. I just get a little sad to be parted from a loved one - I thought I could use the feeling to do a new self portrait but being too busy with work decided to dig out an oldie to express how I feel. Already writing this has made me feel better knowing these boys & women will be providing much needed help over there.

He will kill me but so pleased to see a little msg left for me in my emails. Korny, but makes me smile :)

I love you my little little princess head!!! I will see you soon love you forever and back.
